You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Guinevere is a 2 month old husky/shepherd mix puppy who came to the shelter as an owner surrender. She is happy, healthy, and very active. We do expect her to be a pretty large dog at maturity. Her adoption fee of $150 covers her basic vet work - all 3 distemper/parvo combination vaccinations, microchip, rabies shot (when old enough), and spay surgery (when old enough). We will coordinate this vet work with the adopter. She will be ready for adoption after her 2nd distemper/parvo vaccination, the week of June 16th. Guinevere will require basic training in all areas. She's looking for a committed home in which she won't be left alone for long hours. We do think she'd be okay with another dog, preferably male, and is young enough to learn to behave with cats. She should be okay with older kids. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
