Hello, I am Sheila. I am a bit of a wallflower, preferring quiet corners over bustling crowds. I prefer my world to be a sanctuary of calm, where I relish the gentle strokes and soft touches of my foster family. I am a loyal companion ready to stand by your side. It does take me some time to trust but once I do I will be your cuddly confidante and bundle of joy and love wrapped in a mellow temperament. I am not one for grand gestures but I will show you the depth of my affection in my own ways. I raised 3 precious babies and now it is my time to be loved and relax. I am house trained and crate trained however I really do not need one and once we have developed our relationship I would much rather snuggle in bed with you. I am vocal when meeting new people just to communicate that they make me nervous and I like my space. I also will bark at you when I want your love and attention otherwise I am a quiet girl just happy to follow you around and assist you in your daily activities. I am exceptionally smart, I know how to sit, lay down, shake, dance and heel (once comfortable with the person calling me). I respect the fences of my foster home and the baby gates, I have gotten along with all the animals I have met. I currently am helping babysit another set of puppies with their mama. I love to play with them and snuggle them as well as play with toys. Squeaky toys are a way to my heart. My foster mom brings me on car rides and I enjoy riding along watching the world go by. I am looking for a calm quiet home that will allow me the time and space needed to learn to trust. I am well worth the wait I promise.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
