My story

OMG!!! Senior perfection incoming!! Meet Bartholomew - an absolutely adorable little guy who somehow ended up all on his own as a stray. He was picked up and brought to a city shelter, where he had a couple of growths removed before coming to us to start his next chapter.Bartholomew is around 10 years old and weighs 19 pounds. He’s a little on the chunky side but is actually quite small in size. He’s got a long tongue that’s always peeking out of his mouth, ready to surprise you with a kiss. He’s also got the ultimate senior dog vibe: mellow, sweet, and totally happy to just hang out with his people.He loves lounging, napping, cuddling, and taking it easy. Short walks and sunbathing? Yes, please. Long hikes or intense playtime? Hard pass. He’s a little wobbly when walking, so he prefers being carried or riding in a stroller when he’s out and about. He gets along great with other dogs and is an absolute dream with people.Bartholomew does have dry eye and needs eye drops a couple of times a day to keep him comfortable, but otherwise he’s doing well and just looking for a soft place to land. He’d do best with someone who’s familiar with senior dogs and who’s home often enough to give him the care (and cuddles) he deserves. Looking to spoil a sweet senior?
