Hi everyone, I'm Paddington, but you can call me Padi. I'm a young pup, about 4 to 5 months old and still learning about the world. My foster Mom tells me I'm a sweet, good natured, gentle boy, who is eager to please. She also says I'm "not mouthy or too forward," but I don't know really know what that means. Anyways, if you have another dog and they like to play, I would love to meet them. I love a good romp with doggos! I also enjoy kids too. They are a plus on my book. I live with 2 boys right now and there are 2 girls next door who to come visit. Their pets are the best, and I lean right into the snuggles. I also love hearing "you're so cute!" Never gets old. I do have energy -- that's true -- and things to learn because I'm a puppy (let's be honest, that's probably why my first owners brought me to the shelter). I need someone who has time for me and take me on walks, help me with potty training, take me to play with other dogs and help me learn some basic training. My foster Mom tells me I have "lots of potential" to be a great dog when I'm older. Hooray! I'm looking for a forever home. I gotta a big heart. Thanks! Love, Paddington š¾ š PS -- The rescue thinks I'm a Springador. For those of you who don't know.....that's a Springer Spaniel and black Labrador mix. This dog's adoption fee is $425 if you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Paddington , please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
