My story

Sahara is a 1 year old sweetheart who was found as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past—but we’re already head over heels for her friendly, gentle, and affectionate nature. She’s got a waggy tail, a heart full of love, and a playful energy that makes her a joy to be around! Sahara is in that important stage of life where she’s soaking up everything like a sponge—eager to learn all the good habits and life lessons that come from being part of a real home. She already knows “sit,” gives sweet kisses, and has the kind of happy energy that lights up a room. The shelter is no place for a growing pup, and Sahara can’t wait to trade kennel walls for adventures, cuddles, and a lifetime of memories. Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet her!Sahara is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
