This happy-go-lucky pup is one of the sweetest, funniest, most lovable dogs you’ll ever meet—and he's growing into a confident, affectionate, and delightfully quirky little guy. Life with Elvis: Elvis starts his day with a potty break and a play session before breakfast, and then it’s on to a full schedule of zoomies, nap breaks, and affection. He’s currently in a foster home with a 55-lb dog and keeps up with him like a champ. Their play sessions are the stuff of puppy legends—Elvis jumps off all fours and launches himself like a tiny cannonball to claim the high ground in their living room wrestling matches. When he's not playing or learning new tricks (he's already mastered “sit” and is working on more), Elvis is all about the cuddles and chin scratches. He’s learning to nap on his own and is crate-trained, sleeping quietly through the night without a peep. Personality & Play: Elvis is full of puppy energy but also has an incredibly sweet and gentle side. He greets everyone he meets with enthusiasm and tail wags, whether it's people on walks, other dogs, or even kids. He’s affectionate and loyal—a total shadow dog who loves being near his people. He’s working hard on housetraining and doing great when kept on a consistent potty schedule. Social Skills: Elvis does well with other dogs and would love a canine sibling, but he’d also thrive as the only dog in a home where he’s promised plenty of love and play. He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but he's respectful on walks and rarely barks. In fact, he's only barked once—and it was to invite his foster brother to play. Training & Leash Walking: He walks well on a leash for a puppy, though he can get a little excited when meeting new friends (who can blame him?). He’s very eager to please and responds well to redirection, especially if treats or praise are involved. Elvis’s Ideal Home: Elvis would love a home that’s ready for all the fun and joy that comes with a young pup. He’s looking for someone who will keep up his training, give him lots of opportunities to play and explore, and most importantly—love him to pieces. Whether he’s wrestling with a dog buddy or curled up by your feet, Elvis just wants to be close to his people. Why Elvis? Because he’s a goofy, loving, endlessly charming little dude who struts through life like he owns the place—and will definitely own your heart.June 5, 2025, 1:11 pm
