Age: 5½ years Weight/Breed: 56 lbs, mixed breed (appears to be a Golden Retriever mix) Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Vaccines: Up to date Foster Location: Parkland, FL ⸻ About Sandy: Sandy is a gentle, calm, and affectionate companion looking for her forever home. She loves being close to her people and thrives on companionship and affection. Initially shy and a bit nervous, Sandy warms up beautifully with patience and care, rewarding you with her sweet nature, loving cuddles, and a heart full of loyalty. She especially enjoys belly rubs and, of course, treats! Personality: Sandy is intelligent and highly food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner. With time, she has blossomed into a more confident and playful dog. She enjoys her daily walks and has done well with other dogs. Her behavior with cats or other small animals is currently unknown. Training: Sandy is both house-trained and crate-trained. She walks politely on a leash and knows basic commands such as “sit.” Her calm demeanor and eagerness to please make her a joy to work with. Ideal Home: Sandy would do best in a quiet home with an active family or individual who can provide her with regular walks and continued reassurance as she builds confidence.
