My story

Stanley is a handsome, biggish boy with a great smile and no interest in being anyone’s shadow. He’s not rude—he just knows where he wants to be, and sometimes it`s across the room. If clingy dogs aren’t your thing, Stanley might be just right.He’s a mysterious, gentlemanly guy: he doesn’t like to spill his feelings with strangers. He even tries to hide the fact that the shelter makes him nervous — though sometimes he fails at that. And as for what kind of dog he is? Who knows! He’s got the black-and-white coloring of a Border Collie, but short fur and a look that doesn’t quite match.If you like dogs with quiet dignity and low emotional maintenance, come meet Stanley. He might be exactly the kind of companion you didn’t know you were looking for.All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm.
