My story

Introducing Calliope aka Callie, an adorable 9-month-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her ears! This sweet girl was found as a stray, but you’d never know it—she’s blossomed into a loving, affectionate pup who’s ready to trade in her past for a bright future with a forever family. She’s a smaller girl about 40 lbs. Callie is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky. She’s potty trained, kennel trained, and super smart—especially when treats are involved (she’s very food motivated!). She gets along great with other dogs and would love a doggy sibling to play with and learn from. Like any young pup, Callie still has some playful puppy energy and is learning her manners with a wagging tail and a willing heart. She would thrive in a home that’s ready to keep up with her youthful spirit while helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s destined to be. Callie would do best in a cat-free home, but she makes up for it with her loving and cuddly nature. Whether it’s playing in the backyard or just a nap on the couch—she’s happiest when she’s with her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, and devoted best friend, Callie is ready to light up your life. Her journey started on the streets, but it can end right where she belongs—in your home and in your heart. Callie is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay.
