My story

Sweet Ollie is a cuddle bug through and through. He loves being near his people — whether it’s curled up in your lap or simply in the same room, he just wants to be close. And when you carry him, be ready for a heart-melting shoulder hug — it’s his signature move. This brave little guy isn’t fazed by much. Vacuums, hair dryers, even the lawn mower — Ollie meets them all with curiosity, not fear. He absolutely lives for walks in the park! With a long lead, he gets the chance to run free and fast — chasing birds with all the joy in the world. He’s quick and playful, a little rocket with four paws. Ollie is working on his basic commands — he’s got “sit” and “stay” down, and is making progress on leash manners. He’s a smart little guy and eager to learn, especially when there’s love (or a treat) involved. This sweetheart is great with everyone — kids, adults, other dogs (including the foster’s and the neighbor’s pit bull). He’s social and sweet, a great combination! Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations before being placed in their forever homes.
