Venus

My story

Venus is a two-year-old 52 pound brown and black German Shepherd that was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/5 as a stray. Before I even got her out of the kennel she was giving me kisses through the bars. When I got her out into the yard, she occasionally jumped on me. She was obedient and got down when told to do so. Once I started scratching her ears she was in heaven. She did some exploring and did her business in the shelter yard. She’s friendly, energetic, affectionate, curious, and sweet. There’s no doubt that she would be a loyal companion. She’s too big for an apartment but would do well with a yard for some sunshine. Then she’d want to come in and spend time with her loving family cuddling up on the couch or at their feet. She was not interested in other dogs and did not show any aggression. She is very deserving and has a lot of love to offer.
