My story

If you’re a fan of herding breeds with big personality and irresistible charm, Indie might just be your dream dog! Indie is a beautiful 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/Sheltie mix with a heart full of play and a sparkle in her eye. She's silly, smart, and adores being the center of attention. Whether she's trotting happily on a walk, playing with her favorite toys, or curling up nearby, Indie is always ready to be part of the action. True to her herding roots, Indie is energetic, attentive, and thrives with structure and engagement. She gets along well with other animals—yes, even cats, poultry, ducks, and goats! She does enjoy playing with other dogs, but her style can be a bit extra (think rowdy, noisy, and a little bossy), so she’s best matched with tolerant, playful pups or as your one-and-only doggo at home. Indie does have those classic herding dog instincts, including some nippy behaviors when she's excited (or scared sometimes)—but she's not aggressive or a "biter". She just loves to “direct traffic,” as any good herding dog would! Indie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and ready to find her perfect match. She’s looking for an understanding, experienced home that enjoys her breed’s quirks and can give her the love, structure, and fun she craves.
