PHOENIX

My story

Phoenix is a sweet, goofy, and affectionate girl who’s made incredible progress in just a short time out of the shelter. She’s housebroken, crate trained (though she’ll tell you she’d rather be with you!), and knows how to sit like a pro—especially if treats are involved! She loves to cuddle and will happily sprawl across your lap like she’s a 10-pound lap dog. Phoenix is food motivated, gentle when taking treats, and eager to learn. Her favorite things include frozen peanut butter Kongs, chasing leaves and shadows, and gently nibbling on her stuffies. She has the softest white socks, a spotty chest, and the tiniest white tip on her tail—a little package of charm and wiggles.While Phoenix can get excitable she’s made huge strides with a gentle leader and and extra attention from her fosters. She’s been polite and curious about cats through baby gate intros and could likely live with a dog-savvy cat given slow introductions. She’s also done great meeting new people and shines in calm, patient environments.Phoenix is a goofy, snuggly, eager to please with with lots of potential. If you’re looking young silly pup with a big heart and even bigger wiggles, Phoenix just might be your girl!
