Barn Cat- Snowball

My story

Stormy and Snowball are looking for a barn home together! Stormy is a 2-year-old male and Snowball a 2-year-old adult male. Stormy and Snowball have been assessed as a semi-social. Semi-social cats are those who may occasionally accept light petting and interact with humans on their own terms. However, they would prefer living in an outdoor environment and are not intended to be companion pets. Snowball and Stormy have been paired based on their socialization status and have not been housed together at Kitsap Humane. Proper introductions will still need to be facilitated between them. If you are interested in adopting Stormy and Snowball to be working cats on your property, stop by the shelter any day during adoption hours to join the queue. If you have not submitted a barn cat application previously, you will need to fill one out when you arrive. All adoptions are first come, first serve.*Barn cats require a secure indoor enclosure where they can be kept confined. After they are able to have outdoor access, they should continue to have access to this safe indoor space for protection from weather and predators. The indoor space could be a shed, garage, workshop, barn, etc. but should have four walls and a roof and be able to be entered by the caretakers in order to feed the cat and clean the litter box. Barn cat caretakers should expect to provide access to a litter box even after the cat is able to go outdoors, will need to feed the cat and provide fresh water daily, and will need to provide routine vaccines and medical care if the cat becomes sick or injured.* Primary Color: Seal Point Weight: 12.8 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks
