My story
Ricky has been in foster during his heartworm treatment, and he is now eagerly awaiting his forever home! He is the perfect middle aged companion - at around 6/7 years of age. He is out of the rotten puppy stage but still full of energy and ready to be the best sidekick for all of your adventures. Ricky is crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, rides well in the car, and is a polite and well mannered gentleman in the house. He has lived with another female dog in the past and did very well, although is currently the only dog in his foster home. (No cats - they’re too fun to chase!) He also does well with children and elderly visitors. He is gentle and matches energy very well. Ricky would LOVE a fenced in yard where he can run, prance, and stalk squirrels to his heart’s content, and he’d make a fantastic walking partner. Apply today to bring Ricky home!
