My story

***LOCAL ADOPTER NEEDED (within 50 miles of Apex, NC) as this dog still needs to be spayed and complete her heartworm treatment at our partner vet in Apex!*** Hey! I’m Sunday! I recently finished raising 7 wonderful pups (who are also looking for their forever homes!) as part of my “Sunday brunch.” While being a mom was wonderful, I'm loving my "single woman era" and I'm excited for my spay in a few weeks. As a true southern lady, my favorite way to spend time is sitting on the front porch and watching the neighbors walk by. I love kids and other dogs but I’m a bit undecided on cats (they are so fun to chase!). Like all strong and independent women, I’ve got a good appetite, I love (chewing on) shoes, and a tendency to be a vocal when I need something. I'll make sure you know when it's time for a walk, belly rubs, or when I would like a taste of your lunch! As queen of the house, I prefer to sleep in bed with you but after a few minutes I‘ll settle into my crate. My ideal afternoon is filled with cuddles, walks, snacks, and all the attention you can give. Even though I’m adjusting to postpartum life, I'm really just a puppy! I’ve mastered the easy stuff like potty training and walking on a leash but I’ll need some help learning what is and is not a chew toy and how to use my inside voice. As long as the snacks are flowing, I’ll happily practice my tricks (sit, down, shake, drop it, and stay) all day long!
