My story

Meet Fawn 🦮 Fawn is a beautiful blond Lab-Retriever–Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her spirit. When she first arrived she had poor to no vision, she has since had both eyes removed and is now fully healed—and thriving. Fawn doesn’t let blindness slow her down one bit. She still enjoys wandering the yard, sniffing out the world around her, and playing with her favorite toys. Her sense of adventure and joy is contagious. Gentle and loving, Fawn adores cuddling on the couch with her companions and settling in for a cozy nap. She’s also got a bit of a vocal side—if she hears you nearby while she’s in her kennel, she might let out a few barks just to say, “I know you’re there!” A securely fenced-in yard is a must for her continued safety and freedom to explore. Fawn is a testament to resilience and sweetness—proof that life can be grand, no matter the obstacles.
