My story

Jupiter is a handsome 2-year-old with a bright spirit and a curious heart. Brought to the shelter by a kind member of the public, Jupiter has been adjusting to his new surroundings with the help of our amazing volunteers—he enjoys his daily walks and is learning the ropes of shelter life one step at a time.He’s already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines—ready to head home as soon as he finds the right match. Jupiter has done well meeting new people and would need to meet any potential doggy roommates to make sure everyone gets along.Jupiter recently enjoyed a Dog Day Out and was the perfect park date! He had a blast sniffing around and rolling in the grass before cooling off in the shade for some one-on-one hangout time. He impressed his volunteer buddy with his polite manners—no jumping, happy to show off his “sit” for treats, and even stayed calm and non-reactive around barking dogs nearby. Jupiter especially loved getting a pup cup and soaking up all the affection—face kisses and lap cuddles included!With his youth, good looks, and eagerness to explore, Jupiter is ready to launch into a new chapter full of love, structure, and adventure.
