Meet Wren! When Wren first arrived in our care, he exhibited an overwhelming sense of fear that led us to believe he might be feral. His eyes were wide with apprehension, and his body language conveyed a deep-seated wariness of human interaction. Initially, he would flinch at the slightest movement or sound, hiding in the corners and avoiding any direct eye contact. We understood that he had likely experienced some form of trauma or neglect, which contributed to his anxiety and reluctance to trust us. However, as the days turned into weeks and we provided him with a nurturing and supportive environment, Wren gradually began to show signs of improvement. He slowly started to engage more with us, cautiously approaching when we offered him treats and speaking to him in soothing tones. With patience and gentle encouragement, he learned to associate our presence with safety and comfort. Now, after much time spent building trust, Wren has made significant progress and is ready to find a forever home. He has shown a marked increase in confidence and seems eager for companionship, though he still retains a hint of caution in his demeanor. We believe that Wren would thrive in a home where he has the choice to explore the outdoors. This would allow him to enjoy an open area where he can roam freely, observe his surroundings, and hone his innate instincts at his own pace. ##2371453##
