My story

Meet Syd! He’s a big, smiley beast of a dog who *might* have a hint of mastiff in him — no promises, though! At about a year old and 68lbs, he’s still a big ol’ baby. So if you’re a fan of big dogs, Syd might be your guy—and he might not be done growing yet!Syd has had moments of fear in the shelter, but even then he’s been gentle and easy to handle. In playgroup, his bounce comes out — he loves romping with his dog friends and showing off his zoomies. He’s the kind of dog who’s ready to find the fun in every situation.This dog might one day take up your whole couch. But trust us—you won’t mind! All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!?To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home?
