My story

Please meet just the sweetest and cutest little boy we are honored to name Roosevelt! He was brought to the shelter on 5/30 because he was on a journey as an independent soul and got lost in finding his way home. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick mission to find that forever home the second time around. Roosevelt is only a year old and weighs a mere 50lbs. From the looks of his pictures, he seemed to enjoy having his picture taken. He is quiet the looker. Wouldn't you agree? The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, and obedient. He is playful and loves to play with toys in our play yard. Roosevelt is a smart young man as he knows how to sit when asked and he may know more. He does love treats and he takes them so nicely. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 30; his ID is 10443. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Before choosing Roosevelt, please take the time in your life and make sure you have the space, the time, the patience, and lifestyle to ensure that Roosevelt has the best upbringing possible. He truly deserves that golden chance at a long life ahead. Roosevelt is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Roosevelt is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
