My story

  Orange Papaya is a calm, affectionate sweetheart currently raising three kittens with total grace and zero drama. She’s the kind of cat who makes motherhood look easy—and still finds time for naps, playtime, and lots of love. She adores head scritches, can’t get enough of the Furminator (seriously—it’s spa day every day), and gets a kick out of chasing her worm-on-a-wand toy before flopping over for a snooze in a sunny spot. Her vibe? Cozy, loving, and endlessly gentle. Orange Papaya has a touch of mild gingivitis, but don’t let that worry you—she eats like a champ and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. All she’s missing now is a forever home to call her own once her kittens are grown. This mama has done her job—now it’s her turn to be spoiled. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
