My story

Tessa is a four-year-old mixed breed with the heart of an athlete and the spirit of an adventurer.If she were human, shed be lifting weights at sunrise and leading the pack on a hike by noon.Shes full of curiosity, drive, and doggy joy and always up for the next fun thing.Tessa loves playing with other dogs and going on long, sniff-filled walks.Shes still learning her best manners (think jumping, pulling, and enthusiastic investigating),so shes looking for someone ready to guide her with patience and positive reinforcement.Training will be part of the fun shes smart, motivated, and eager to connect.Shed thrive in a home that can offer consistency, structure, and a good sense of humor.If you`re ready for a bold, bright pup with big feelings and even bigger potential, come meet Tessa! Stop by the MSPCA at the Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Tessa. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
