When Sugar Momma first arrived for her Dog Day Out, she was a bit shy and reserved. But once she had some time to stretch her legs, sniff the breeze, and run free at Sweetwater, her true personality bloomed like sunshine on a cloudy day! With zoomies in full swing and her smile beaming, Sugar Momma showed us just how playful and happy she can be. She played sweetly with other dogs through the fence, showing lots of friendly interest, and even took a dip in the pool — paddling around with pure delight. Watching her swim and light up with joy was the highlight of the day! Sugar Momma is wonderfully gentle. She takes treats like a lady, doesn’t pull on the leash, and by the end of the day, she was offering sweet little kisses — a quiet thank you for a day full of kindness. She may not know “sit” just yet, but she’s treat-motivated and eager to please, so with a little guidance, she’ll be a quick learner. This girl is the perfect size for cuddles on the couch, adventures around the neighborhood, or just sharing quiet moments together. With her loving spirit and playful heart, Sugar Momma is ready to blossom into the loyal companion she was always meant to be. Open your heart and your home to Sugar Momma — and watch how quickly she’ll fill your life with love. 🐾❤️ As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
