My story

Smalls is a 47lb terrier mix with a soft spirit and a heart full of potential. After being found as a stray and fighting off pneumonia and kennel cough, he’s now healthy, happy, and learning to enjoy life indoors — one nap, walk, and sprinkler run at a time. Smalls enjoys morning strolls, chasing water sprays, and then settling in for a day of lounging like a true comfort connoisseur. He’s moderately active and appreciates calm, predictable routines. While Smalls is good with dogs and respectful around kids, he can be cautious around new people — especially men. But once he warms up, he’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate. He’s house trained, has basic obedience skills, and is working hard on building his confidence.
