My story

Morissa is a soft-spoken sweetheart with a heart as warm as her orange fur. Rescued from a hoarding situation, this beautiful domestic shorthair has come a long way and is learning every day what it means to feel safe, loved, and seen. At first glance, Morissa might seem shy—she tends to keep a low profile and may hide when meeting new people—but give her a little time and patience, and her true personality shines through. When she feels comfortable, she becomes incredibly affectionate, offering up headbutts, sweet snuggles, and the loudest purrs you’ve ever heard. She does well with other cats and currently lives peacefully with several feline friends. She’s also good with respectful children and older, calm dogs who give her space. Morissa doesn’t ask for much—just a quiet corner, a gentle hand, and the chance to grow in her own time. If you believe love is something worth waiting for, Morissa is waiting for you.
