Orlando

My story

  Orlando is a very handsome, 2 year flame point siamese male, (most likely a mix but he's not telling!) He can't get enough head and chin scratches and play time with the wand toys. He's very skilled at the puzzle box with getting the balls out of the holes!Orlando will make a perfect companion cat for another cat in the house. He has loved having 2 other young adult cats in his foster room at different times and is VERY respectful with them and no fighting. He is very vocal and meows when my personal cat is not with him overnight! It is also likely that he would get along well with a dog that is cat friendly and respectful.Orlando is shy with humans and very afraid of strangers, however with patience, a little training and compassion he will learn to love you. Orlando will come to me for pets,  jaw scratches, and will also cuddle up with me. Its imperative that he be kept the first 3 weeks in an enclosed bedroom or office to get attached to his new humans, working with him several times a day. Otherwise he will hide under a bed and you would never see him.Orlando can be visited in his foster home in south Fort Collins.CP   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
