My story

Raina arrived into the program the first of June of this year, once she recovered from having a litter of puppies before she turned a year old. :( This girl was just a puppy herself when she gave birth to seven puppies under an abandoned house in the Bauxite area of Arkansas. Raina was spotted by a resident in the area who kept an eye on her and was led to the puppies. After crawling up under the house, the babies were brought to safety and are also making their way into the program. Raina is a very nice, calm dog. We are guesstimating her age to be about 15 months old. She weighs 48 pounds but is honestly a little overweight because the rescuer did such a GREAT JOB taking care of her after the birth of all those babies. The good news is, that litter of puppies was Raina's first and last litter as she is now spayed! Raina is also microchipped, has all of her shots and is on heartworm preventative, as well as flea and tick preventative. Raina is house trained and leash trained. She rides in a car with no vomiting and doesn't even try to drive! Raina gets along great with other dogs and is currently living with other dogs, big and small, bossy and docile and she is just perfect.
