My story

Vincent is a sweet, food-motivated 8-month-old pup with a sleek, slender build and a gentle disposition. He forms strong bonds with his special people and loves quiet snuggles and following them around for comfort. Vincent takes treats gently and responds well to positive reinforcement training, making him a great candidate for someone willing to continue his progress. Vincent can be shy and vocal, often barking at strangers, sudden movements, or unfamiliar noises. His insecurity & uncertainty drives much of this behavior. He will do best in a calm, quiet home with an adopter who understands the importance of slow socialization, patience, and consistent confidence-building. A household without too much commotion, and possibly with a calm, confident canine companion, would help Vincent thrive. Vincent is not quite ready for a busy or noisy environment but with the right care and support, he has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you’re patient and ready to help Vincent grow, he’ll reward you with deep loyalty and affection. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
