Team Mascot is the newest pint-sized paw-erhouse on the block at APA! This tiny furball is chock-full of energy, and has been making lots of friends (human and feline alike). As we learn more about Team Mascot's personality, we'll update this page. But if your heart is already pitter-pattering for a meet-and-greet, don't hesitate to reach out to adopt@austinpetsalive.org! Team Mascot has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Team Mascot can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Team Mascot’s care. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
