My story

Introducing Sosa! He was brought to the shelter on 5/31 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So now Sosa is looking for that special forever home so he never has to return to a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Sosa is only 2 years and 1 week old and weighs a mere 50lbs. He is beautiful inside and out. The volunteers describe him as a big love bug who is coming out of his shell everyday. He is sweet as he can be and a cutie pie! Wouldn't you want to wake up to this beautiful face? He is a little strong on the leash but with some patience, devotion and love in some leash training, Sosa will have that mastered in no time at all! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 831; his ID is 10477. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please make sure you have the space, time, and lifestyle to ensure that Sosa has the best upbringing he so deserves. Sosa is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Sosa is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
