My story

I may be a little shy at first, but I promise—I have a gentle heart and a calm soul just waiting to find my forever family. I spent the first year of my life in a shelter, without a single adoption inquiry. When I was placed on the euthanasia list, a kind rescuer gave me a second chance at life… and now, here I am, healthy and hopeful for a loving home. I’m a quiet and cautious girl. I don’t jump all over people or beg for attention, but I’ll quietly come close with curious eyes and a calm presence. Even around children or unfamiliar people, I stay relaxed and composed. I’m not scared of adult men either, and I do just fine on my own—no separation anxiety here! When it comes to other dogs, I’m not overly interested. I’m perfectly happy being the only pup in the home, getting all the love to myself. Cats? Hmm… I’m very curious about them, so it’s probably best if I don’t live with any. I walk well on a leash, though sometimes I get a little excited by blowing leaves or stray bits of trash. But I’m not afraid of cars or sudden noises, so overall I’m a steady walker. I rarely bark, but I might give a little woof if someone comes to the door—don’t worry though, I stop right away when you let me know it’s okay. I prefer doing my business outside, though I like to take my time picking the perfect spot. I’m not picky with food at all—I love my meals and snacks, and I’m not fussy. I even enjoy brushing time! Bath time and the hair dryer? Not my favorite, but I stay calm and cooperate like a good girl. I know a few basic commands like "sit," "wait," and "fetch," and I can ride in the car without any trouble. I sleep well on my own and always return to my spot if I wake up during the night. Oh, and I’ve been told I’m pretty adorable too. My black-tipped muzzle and deep, expressive eyes give me a one-of-a-kind look. And if you’re coming home after a long day, I’ll be right there to greet you with all the love and tail wags I can give! I’m the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a calm, loving home where I can quietly be by your side.
