My story

Hi! I’m Chip! I’m a 1-year-old, terrier-type mix (I’m not sure what thought because I have curly-ish fur but I shed) and I weigh around 14 lbs. I’ve recently come to Colorado from Texas. It was so hot there! I’m having a great time in my foster home here. I like to snuggle up in bed with my foster mom. She taught me to use the dog door, too! I have some other doggie foster siblings that I like to play with, too. My foster mom says I’m a little shy at first, but now I just love her and I follow her around everywhere she goes. I’m still a puppy so sometimes I like to chew on things I shouldn’t (oops) and I bark here and there, too. I’m really excited to meet my forever family. Oh! I do have heartworms, but I had treatment and should kick those nasty buggers to the curb soon!!
