My story

(DOB 07/11/2022) Lex is a joyful, energetic Australian Kelpie with a heart as big as his smile! Just under 3 years old, Lex is a social butterfly who adores being around people, kids, and other dogs. Whether he’s playing with a canine buddy, going for a hike, cruising in the car, or strolling through the neighborhood, Lex is all about fun—and he brings it with him everywhere he goes. Lex is potty trained and crate trained, but requires a strong airline crate if he needs to be crated. Given the choice, he’d much rather be lounging on the bed or snuggling up on the couch. Lex would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog to keep him company. If he’s flying solo as the only dog, he’ll need a family where someone is home most of the day—he’d be the perfect companion for someone who works from home. Lex isn’t a fit for homes with cats. With his happy energy, loyal nature, and love for adventure, Lex is ready to be the heart of his forever home. As part of Lex's $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
