Litter: Dori Currently Living at: Foster home in the DC area! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Darcy, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too! What my Foster Says About Me: Darcy has brought lots of laughter and smiles to this foster household. He is playful, clever and very curious! He loves to pounce into empty Kleenex boxes, chase ping pong balls and play with rope. He will curl up in your lap for naps and announce when he is using the litter box. His personality is outgoing, and temperament is patient.  While he may have been wiggly before about being held, he now likes to be cuddled (for a few minutes anyway), will greet you with purrs in the morning, and likes to have his chest & the bridge of his nose gently rubbed when nodding off. He would do great in any household and has been tolerant with a variety of noises, including my teenage kids practicing piano. It would be a bonus if he was adopted by someone who has another cat who is as playful as he is!   What The Shelter Says About Me: Darcy is all boy - and into action adventures, as he chooses. His markings do make him look like an action figure hero - complete with mask and cape. If picked up too quickly, Darcy kicks and squirms, trying to escape. So he needs an extra quiet gentle start in his new home.  Darcy loves to play and will chase the kitten teaser if it isn't moving too wildly.   In fact he prefers play time over lap time.  Occasionally Darcy will accept a brief cuddle, but then he wants to get down in case he is missing something interesting.  Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. Due to this kitten's young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than  9/27/25. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low-cost partner vets. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
