You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Pleakley! This sweetie pie is about a year old and loves to be pet and snuggle on your lap. He is wonderful with everyone - cats, dogs and kids! He's gentle and loving and enjoys being pet. He's calm and mellow too. He was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina along with his sister, Mrs. Kekoa. They can be adopted separately, but if you happen to be interested in the pair, we would waive her adoption fee.  This cat is neutered, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *     DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:  Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity.
