Oh me, oh my, it’s O’Malley! The adventures that this boy had before arriving at EHS are unknown, but O’Malley has the luck of the Irish on his side and is now on the road to a better life! ABOUT O’MALLEY:- At shelter- O’Malley is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans. - He’s still frightened and may hide away under blankets. When approached, he may become protective of his personal space with some swats. - When he isn’t feeling scared, or thinks he isn’t being watched, O’Malley shares glimpses of his wonderfully curious personality.- While he was in foster, he enjoyed sitting on the windowsill, gazing out with his expressive eyes. Now, at the shelter, he’s starting to accept pets from volunteers using the back-scratcher. - O’Mally is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help him become more comfortable around people.- Some skittish cats may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways.- O’Malley is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and has received core vaccinations.O’MALLEY’S IDEAL HOME:- A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children or dogs.- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help O’Malley settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist O’Malley with a successful transition to his forever home.- We aren’t sure yet how O’Malley feels about other cats. As the Irish proverb says, “A best friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have.” Are you O’Malley’s undiscovered best friend?
