My story

Meet Zachary, a reserved gentleman of about 6 years. This medium size cattle dog is a bit shy at first. As a typical Cattle Dog, Zachary is likely to be intelligent, active, and incredibly loyal. This breed was originally developed for herding, so they often thrive with structure, mental stimulation, and plenty of physical activity. Zachary would do best with a family that understands the needs of an energetic working breed and is ready to help channel his enthusiasm into fun, positive outlets. Zachary has done Dog Day Outs before, and hopped right into the car like second nature. He’s a sweet boy who’s just looking for the right people to believe in him and help him continue learning how to be the best dog ever. Come give this good boy the fresh start he deserves and a lifetime of adventures by your side! Like all our adult dogs, Zachary will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. Zachary is currently at our Zona Rosa location.
