My story

Meet Danio, a 6-year-old happy, affectionate boy with a big heart and an even bigger smile! This sweet guy is full of charm and ready to bring joy to his forever family.Danio recently enjoyed a Dog Day Out adventure and was the perfect gentleman in the car. He was excited to hit the nature trail but quickly settled into a steady, relaxed pace, walking beautifully on a loose leash. After the hike, he soaked up some love in a shady picnic spot, leaning in for pets and even resting his head in his handler’s lap—pure sweetness!He’s incredibly people-friendly, loves affection and play, and is especially fond of treats (which he takes ever so gently!). Danio is the kind of dog who will happily join you for a walk, a cuddle on the couch, or anything in between. Danio is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and start his next chapter filled with love, fun, and cozy naps. Come meet this lovable boy and see what a truly special companion he is!Danio says he`s ready to be the main man in your life! This dashing gent would prefer to be the only male dog in the home but is open to meeting any lovely lady doggie siblings who might be waiting for him. Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet him!Danio is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home!His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
