My story

Link is a handsome 2-year-old with a striking brown brindle coat and a curious spirit. He was found as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but what we do know is that he already knows how to sit, and he’s eager to learn more! Since arriving, Link has been taking everything in stride and is slowly learning to trust the people around him. He’s still figuring out the world, but there`s a calm intelligence in his eyes and a quiet sweetness in his nature. If you`re looking for a blank slate with a beautiful coat and a gentle soul, Link could be your perfect match. With a little patience and a lot of love, we know he’ll grow into an amazing companion.Link would love to meet any potential canine siblings! Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet him!Link was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `This was my first ever dog day out and Link’s as well! I decided to take him to Loose Park and we did a few laps, he was such a good walker and loved being outside! Link and I then went to Wendy’s and each got a cheeseburger! Link made my day so special and I hope that I could do the same for him!`On another day out, `Link was the sweetest boy. We got a pup cup, picked out some plants at the nursery, and went for a hike. He did so well on the leash and in the car and was friendly with everyone that he met. He even knows how to sit! He just has the sweetest demeanor and I hope he finds his forever home soon!`Come meet Link and see if he`s the missing piece to your pack!His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
