My adoption fee has been fully sponsored.Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Hello! I came to the shelter as a stray so my history is mostly a mystery. I can be a little nervous but I`ve done well for staff handling me - I`m food motivated, and that will come in handy for training. Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you`ll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff.
