What my friends at ACC say about me:I would do best in a home without very tiny humans.Picnic tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Due to the behavior shown, he may not be a great fit for young children. A volunteer writes: When Picnic's person passed away, she was brought to us. She very understandably hasn't felt very much up for a picnic, but we'd still sure like to become her friend. Our efforts to do so have been met with some grumbles, but we bring her treats and toys in hopes something will catch her eye and interest. We've yet to find the thing that speaks to Picnic most and she's been spending quite a lot of time in her den. She may be a sparkly kitten and it's ok that she hasn't felt much like showing us that. Picnic is, however, very keen on being offered another chance. We're always trying to remind Picnic that though her life looks a little different now, she's still very much loved and wanted exactly as she is.
