Despite her rough start, Zazu has been nothing but gentle, wiggly, and ready for love.My ideal home:Zazu is a senior sweetheart looking for a calm, loving home where she can snooze in sunny spots, enjoy leisurely strolls, and be spoiled with affection. Her medical history means she'll thrive with an adopter who can continue regular vet care and provide a soft bed to rest her healing tail.Good with Kids?Zazu is gentle, social, and tolerant of handling-traits that could make her a great match for a family with respectful kids. As always, a meet-and-greet is recommended.Good with other dogs?Zazu has shown mixed responses with other dogs in shelter playgroups and seems more comfortable avoiding confrontation. A solo-pet household or slow introductions at home would be best.Leash Manners:She walks politely with minimal pulling and happily follows her handler's lead. Just bring the leash and some treats-Zazu's ready to go!Overall health: - Zazu had a portion of her tail removed due to an injury that became aggravated in the kennel. - Chronic Ear Infections (Otitis): Zazu has narrowed, thickened ear canals and a history of inflammation.
