My story

Meet Casper — a 5-Year-Old Bulldog Mix with a Heart of Gold! Casper’s story began at the Humane Society, where he was in isolation recovering from pneumonia. After rescuing him, we quickly took him to specialists who diagnosed him with Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome, a condition that affects his breathing and makes him prone to regurgitation and aspiration pneumonia. Thanks to a successful Soft Palate Resection surgery, Casper is now breathing easier and feeling healthier than ever — a true testament to his resilience. At Sky Sanctuary, we know that healing goes beyond the physical. To help Casper build confidence and emotional well-being, he recently started board and train with our trusted partners at Paddock Paws Pet Care and Training. He’s working hard to overcome separation anxiety and is mastering basic obedience, preparing him to thrive in his forever home. Casper’s medical challenges are behind him, and now he’s ready to find a loving family to call his own. He is a goofy, lovable boy who will keep you smiling with his playful personality. He's a fun companion who loves attention and has a way of brightening any room he enters. He’s ready to give his whole heart to the right home.
