My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:4Meet Droopy! This young pittie mix may start off with a shy look, but give him a kind word and a few treats, and you'll have a new best friend. Volunteers describe him as gentle, people-focused, and eager for connection. On walks, he trots along calmly, checking in with sweet looks and tail wags. He loves affection, leaning in for scritches with his full 67 pounds, giving gentle nibbles of appreciation, and showing off his signature wraparound cuddle pose. Droopy is independent with other dogs and may prefer calmer companions or being your one-and-only cuddle buddy. He is a lower-energy pup who will thrive with a patient adopter who appreciates a gentle soul with a goofy side.
