Bessie

My story

Location: Jordan, MN I’m Bessie. I’m a big strong gal who loves belly rubs, giving kisses, snuggling and going on walks. My bladder is the size of a football, so no worries about accidents in the house. I also have no need for a kennel. At night or when you’re at work I do not get into mischief. I enjoy spending my alone time looking out the window. A bone to gnaw on is fun when I need a break from the window. I also like toys with squeekers. I absolutely love walks and do great on my leash, unless I see a squirrel or rabbit, so be prepared. I’m very strong. I’m protective and will sometimes bark when strangers get too close to my human. But it’s only some of them. I like to run around the yard and watch the animals fly and run around. I must have a little pointer in me because I will do the pointer stance when I see little animals outside. I am fast and listen well, so I may have fun going hunting. With slow slow introductions I might become friends with, or at least tolerate, other dogs in the house. But a no cat house would be best for me. But it’s safe to say that I’d be very happy being the one and only dog in the family. I absolutely love being with my humans. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
