Meet Desi – A Sweet and Shy Soul Looking for Her Safe Place Desi is a petite little girl, weighing just 8 to 9 pounds and estimated to be around 3 years old. She’s incredibly intelligent and always engaged with her surroundings—quietly observing the world with thoughtful eyes and a gentle spirit. Desi is as sweet as they come, but she’s also very timid when meeting new people. She needs time, patience, and a calm environment to feel safe and open up. That’s why we’re looking for an experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time—and who’s willing to give Desi the space she needs to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels secure, Desi’s true personality begins to shine. She becomes affectionate, loyal, and deeply connected to her people. The reward of earning her trust is a bond that’s truly special. Desi does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and she may even benefit from having a confident furry friend in the home to help show her the ropes. If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let a timid pup blossom, Desi just might be the perfect companion for you.
