LOUIE

My story

A28502 Louie is an amber colored, approximately 3-year-old, 14-pound, neutered male, Yorkshire Terrier / Chihuahua mix. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 06-10-2025 due to the fact she was moving and could not bring a dog. Louie is a friendly, happy and easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff describes him as a cute little boy who loves affection and people. He was easy to leash and eager to go for a walk. He walked really nicely on the leash with a cute little trot right next to you. He will need some training as he does not respond to any commands. However, he is not a bad boy, just hasn’t had any training. He shows a friendly interest in other dogs here at the shelter and he came in with another small dog and they get along great. The previous owner says he is house broken and has lived with other dogs and children, but not cats. Louie will be a loyal, loving companion in his new forever home.
