About Antonio -Loves people and wants to connect with everyone he meets -Has a soft spot for children and thrives on affection -Enjoys time with dog friends -Known for his sweet eyes and gentle personality -Offers his paw as his way of saying hello -Thriving in foster and enjoys being included in daily activities “Visit to our home, mostly cuddling and napping on the sofa with us. He’s very well-behaved and is quite happy to be endlessly petted for hours. It never gets old for Antonio. He also loves car rides so we traveled around the villages of CT.” – Tom, AFF Volunteer Antonio came to us from NYC ACC and quickly became a favorite among staff and volunteers. His kind eyes, soft heart, and calm nature win people over the moment they meet him. He has a special way of connecting, often reaching out with his paw as if to say hello and make sure you are right there with him. He truly loves people, every single one he meets, and his joy shines brightest when he is surrounded by them. Children hold a special place in his heart, and he soaks up their attention with pure happiness. When he is not leaning in for affection, he enjoys gentle time with his dog friends, sharing calm, easygoing moments. Antonio has been spending time in a foster home and is thriving. Each morning, he comes in to gently offer his paw as a way of saying good morning and checking if it is time to start the day. His foster takes him along for outings like lunches and Sunday strolls, and Antonio is always happy to be included, going with the flow and enjoying whatever comes next. Whether it is a car ride, a walk, or simply resting nearby, Antonio finds joy in being with his people and brings a steady warmth into every moment.
