My story

Hi there! I am a happy, sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Woodie. I weigh 16 lbs, and all I want is a soft lap, a warm heart, and a place where I’ll never be forgotten again. I was living in Devine, Texas, when my owner went to prison, leaving me and my doggy friend behind, alone in the house with no food, water, or anyone to care for us. These days, I am living in a foster home, now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, all in preparation to find a wonderful forever home! I’m a medium energy boy, and I love people and other dogs. I love playtime, and doggy toys, and when I invite my doggy friends to play, I am asking them with puppy bows, and my little tail is wagging like crazy. I’m potty trained, comfortable in a crate, and learning to walk on a leash. I don’t bark much, or even ask for much. I am easy to please and just want to be near the people I love, or better yet, snuggled beside you or in your lap, LOL! If you’re looking for a little companion who will never take your love for granted, I’m right here. East Coast people, inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
